Derek Haas & Michael Brandt Writing Alien Legion Adaptation

A new project in development at Disney with Jerry Bruckheimer producing. It's an adaptation of an epic comic book from the 1980s called Alien Legion that was basically the French Foreign Legion in outer space. Writers Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, the duo behind 3:10 to Yuma, Wanted, and The A-Team, have been writing the screenplay for Bruckheimer. "Think the Creature Cantina goes to war," said Haas of Alien Legion. The French Foreign Legion recruited all sorts of different people and Alien Legion is just like that, except these recruits come from all kinds of different planets.
