Fox is Bringing EA's Video Game Spore to the Big Screen

It's hard to believe that it was four years ago when we first laid eyes upon the original gameplay demo of Electronic Arts' video game Spore. Upon it's official release just one year ago, reviews were fairly positive for a game that is very complex, "covering many genres including action, real-time strategy and RPG, Spore allows a player to control the development of a species from its beginnings as a microscopic organism, through development as an intelligent and social creature, to interstellar exploration as a space-faring culture." Now Variety reports that the revolutionary (and evolutionary) game will be made into a movie.
