After losing director Patty Jenkins earlier this month over creative differences, Marvel Studios have decided upon a replacement for their sequel Thor 2, and according to Deadine, it's Alan Taylor, the director who has mainly been helming television shows for HBO like "Game of Thrones," "Boardwalk Empire" and "The Sopranos" (for which he won an Emmy).
