Jodie Foster Signs Up for Neill Blomkamp's Sci-Fi Flick 'Elysium'

The film hasn't even yet begun pursuit of a studio for distribution, but it sounds like there should be no hesitation when Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi film Elysium gets shopped around Hollywood. In addition to District 9 star Sharlto Copley and A-List star Matt Damon, Deadline is now reporting Jodie Foster, who is experiencing a comeback of sorts, has committed to star in the secretive project. No details on the story have yet been revealed, but we know it's not a sequel to the Best Picture nominee District 9 and the story is set in the far future on another planet.
