The 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominees Are...

The nominees for the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have just been announced today. Yet another awards show in the very top tier (which also includes the Golden Globes and Academy Awards) is the Screen Actors Guilds Awards, where the actors themselves choose the best performances from amongst their peers.

These nominees are usually very similar to those at the Oscars, so this may be a good indication. The two films with the most nominations are The King's Speech and The Fighter, but their choices this year are damn good, exactly what I expected and wanted to see. The SAG Awards will air live from Los Angeles on TNT/TBS on Sunday, January 30th, 2011 at 8PM EST.
