Empire Slowly Revealing Our First Look at the New CGI Tintin

We're now about 14 months away from the release of Peter Jackson & Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin. Although we're still a long ways away, I've been surprised that we haven't seen a photo from the animated movie, especially because they finished shooting back in March of last year. That said, Tintin isn't a popular character here in the US, but is throughout the rest of the world, so it only makes sense that Sony and Paramount (co-distributing) chose Empire to debut the very first look at the CGI character. However, we're not fully there yet, as they just kicked off a nifty little visual countdown for the reveal on their website.

Seen above are four small portions of bigger images as revealed on their site: empireonline.com/reveal/. The four little teaser images are just tidbits from what looks like a bigger photo of the CGI Tintin, voiced and modeled by Jamie Bell. As far as we can tell, from left to right: Tintin's yellow overcoat, Snowy's hair (his dog), his brown pants, and his blue sweater that he normally wears (using this photo for reference). Empire is playing coy and not mentioning anything anywhere, so we don't know how or when the rest of the photos will be revealed, but we're pretty damn certain this is will be the first photo from The Adventures of Tintin.
