Think 3D TV is a must-see? Mitsubishi has known this for a while now. The company has actually been making 3D-ready TVs for a few years. Now that the 3D TV push is on, they have announced a new model for the 3D-ready LaserVue line. At $5,999, the L75-A91 adds a 75-inch option for 3D-hungry big screen lovers.
Like the previous 65-inch model, this big boy is 3D-ready, has the LaserVue/DLP light engine, and four HDMI-CEC inputs. New features include a Cinema Color mode and StreamTV web content. StreamTV is Mitsubishi’s on-screen service, which provides on-demand access to VUDU, Facebook, Flickr, and much more.
Other features include 120Hz technology, plush 1080p 5G 12-Bit video processing, a wired IR input, ISFccc video adjustments, and two USB ports.
Another noteworthy announcement is that Mitsubishi is now finally beinning to ship its 3D converter box which enables their 3D ready TVs, produced since 2007 (including the LaserVue models), to use modern 3D source components such as Blu-ray 3D players.
