3D Twister Sequel ?
Ο πρωταγωνιστης της 1ης ταινιας Bill Paxton συζητα με την παραγωγο Kathleen Kennedy για ενα sequel της ταινιας το οποιο θα ειναι πιο "σκοτεινο" και αγριο απο την πρωτη ταινια και μαλιστα θα ειναι 3d.
Ταινίες επιστημονικής φαντασίας «ψηφίζουν» οι Αμερικανοί παραγωγοί
Το Αβαταρ, το Σταρ Τρεκ και το District 9 είναι οι τρεις από τις ταινίες που επέλεξε το Σωματείο Παραγωγών των ΗΠΑ ως υποψήφιες για το βραβείο καλύτερης ταινίας.Τη λίστα συμπληρώνουν το Up της Pixar, οι Αδωξοι Μπάστερδη του Κ.Ταραντίνο, το Up in the Air με τον Τζορτζ Κλούνι, το Hurt Locker, το Precious, το Μια Κάποια Εκπαίδευση και το Invictus του Κ.Ίστγουντ με τον Μόργκαν Φρίμαν.
Τα δύο τελευταία χρόνια ο νικητής του βραβείου καλύτερης ταινίας του Σωματείου Αμερικανών Παραγωγών έχει κερδίσει και το Όσκαρ καλύτερης ταινίας.
Τα βραβεία θα απονεμηθούν στις 24 Ιανουαρίου.

Lost Sequel ????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both Lindelof and Cuse seem convinced Disney will eventually concoct some sort of sequel, prequel or remake of the series. (In the new novel “Under The Dome,” Stephen King makes reference to a sequel to “Lost” airing in the near future titled “The Hunted Ones.

The Consumer Electronics Show is making news with the coming of 3DTV. A timeline:
* MAY 2010: LG's first 3DTV set hits the market. The new sets are expected to cost $200 to $300 more than comparable 2D sets. More manufactures are expected to make announcements about 3DTV sets Wednesday.
* JUNE 2010: DirecTV launches three HDTV channels. "At launch, the new DIRECTV HD 3D programming platform, powered by Panasonic, will offer a 24/7 3D pay per view channel focused on movies, documentaries and other programming, a 24/7 3D DIRECTV on Demand channel and a free 3D sampler demo channel featuring event programming such as sports, music and other content," according to a Jan. 6 press release.
* SUMMER 2010: The Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) launches a 3DTV channel.
* 2011: Discovery, Sony and Imax team launches a 3DTV channel.
Expect a lot of original programming and movies like "Chicken Little" and "Avatar" that were made in 3D. While it's a relatively simple process to convert an old film print to HD, converting old-fashioned 2D movies and TV shows to 3D is apparently proving much more labor-intensive.

Avatar Becomes the #2 Film of All Time!
James Cameron's Avatar became the second-highest grossing film worldwide of all time on Wednesday, its 20th day in theaters.
Domestically, the blockbuster added $6.91 million to push its total to $374.4 million. The film has climbed to the 12th spot on the all-time domestic list, surpassing Spider-Man 2 ($373.6 million).
Internationally, Avatar has earned $760.9 million.
The combined worldwide total stands at $1,135,383,229, which surpasses The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King's $1,119,110,941. The movie now only trails Cameron's own #1 global blockbuster Titanic, which earned $1,842,879,955.
